Retford Lions Club is committed to continue the much-loved annual duck races which have traditionally run on Charter Day. The Lions Coronation Duck Races will be held in 2023 on special Bank Holiday Monday 8th May in Kings Park.
As well as the duck races, on the same day Retford Lions will also be promoting The Big Help Out, on Monday 8th May in Kings Park. This is an initiative by King Charles III, to encourage everyone to come along to explore ways in which they can volunteer their time to help their local community. Charities will be given the facility to explain/demonstrate/show what they do and how local people can help.
