The Rotherham Hospital and Community Charity is encouraging fundraisers to unleash their inner elf this Christmas to boost the Tiny Toes appeal.
The NHS charity’s fun and festive National Elf Service campaign will return from 11 to 17 December 2023, with an official Christmas Jumper Day on 14 December.
The charity is encouraging elves young and old to swap their school uniforms, work suits or stay-at-home joggers for their glitziest jumpers, reindeer antlers, funky socks or seasonal fancy dress to raise money at work, school or at home – anything goes!
Fundraising during National Elf Service Week will help to boost the charity’s Tiny Toes appeal, which aims to raise £150,000 to fund the redevelopment of the hospital’s neonatal unit.
Here’s how you can take part in Elf Service Week between 11 and 17 December 2023:
1. Whether you are at home, school or work, we are encouraging elves young and old to swap your school uniforms, work suits or stay-at-home joggers for your glitziest jumpers, reindeer antlers, funky socks or seasonal fancy dress – anything goes!
2. Tell your work colleagues, school mates, neighbours, family and friends and encourage them to join you or sponsor you.
3. Get in touch to tell us your plans and don’t forget to take lots of photos – trft.rhcc@nhs.net
4. Donate the funds you have raised via Just Giving – https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/rotherhamelfserviceweek or check out our website for more ways to donate – https://www.therotherhamft.nhs.uk/charity/donate
