What was the most fearsome weapon in the days of Robin Hood? Quite possibly the longbow.
Used in so many of England’s fiercest battles of the Middle Ages, the longbow archers’ strength and skill was both respected and dreaded.
Just how powerful was it? How easy to use? And what damage could it inflict on the enemy? Who better to find out the answers to these questions from than the Sherwood Outlaws at the Major Oak?
