WIN tickets to see Dukeries Theatre Group present One Man, Two Guvnors with Worksop Life

Closing Date: Friday 8th November 2024

Dukeries Theatre Group return to the stage at The Acorn Theatre in Worksop in November with a fast, frenetic and fiendishly funny hit show that originated at the National Theatre with comedian James Corden in the lead role!

‘One Man, Two Guvnors’ is written by Richard Bean and based on ‘The Servant of Two Masters’ by Carlo Goldoni with songs by Grant Olding.

Set in 1960s Brighton, the chaotic but loveable Francis accidentally finds himself working for two guvnors. Now all he has to do, is keep his double employment a secret, earn a few quid, win the heart of Dolly and – most importantly of all – find some lunch!

With the perfect mix of end-of-the-pier slapstick, ‘Carry On’- style bawdiness and Pythonesque absurdity, along with a fabulous live skiffle band bringing you the 60’s music, this hilarious farce is bound to have you laughing from start to finish!

The show features adult themes and strong language so parental discretion is advised. See it on 21st, 22nd and 23rd November, 7.30pm, at The Acorn Theatre , Worksop. Tickets cost £14.00 (plus booking fee) and are available from www.acorntheatre.org or call 0333 666 3366.
