Our Christmas season is in full swing at Trinity Arts Centre, Gainsborough, and nothing says it is Christmas more than a traditional British pantomime! Action, adventure, secrets, songs, dancing, trickery, romance, and shipwrecks. Plus, of course, the pantomime dame, all brought to you by the Gainsborough Musical Theatre Society, in their production of ‘Dick Whittington and His Cat’.
We continue in the Christmas spirit with the EYMS Brass Band Christmas Concert. This nationally recognised band has collected 28 wins at brass band contests, and they compete against the likes of the Brighouse and Rastrick, Grimethorpe, and Black Dyke Mills bands. They have featured on CDs by The Beautiful South, and played at the Royal Albert Hall. The East Yorkshire Motor Services Band is not to be missed.
We move from brass to rock, with the ultimate, nostalgia filled, rock party, ‘That 80s Christmas Rock Show’. Performed by a six-piece live band. And we have the perfect Christmas Eve for Children, ‘Santa’s Christmas Wish’. Join this fun, festive, musical adventure, and then meet Santa after the show, when every child will receive a special present!
We are also showing the films ‘The Mountain Between Us’, ‘Breathe’, ‘Geostorm’, ‘Murder on the Orient Express’, and ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, as well as the National Theatre live streaming of ‘Young Marx’.
