December is a busy month for Clarborough Church, firstly on Sunday 2nd December there is the annual Victorian Christmas Market. Starting at 1.00pm, and lasting all afternoon, the church will be full of craft stalls — ideal for gift hunting! Stall holders will be dressed in colourful Victorian costume, there will be a visit from Father Christmas, and Clarborough school children will be involved. Hot chocolate, mulled wine and festive refreshments will be available all afternoon. It is free entry.
Friday 7th December at 7.00pm is the joint concert with Worksop Miners Brass Band and the Village Harmony Choir. This was one of the church’s most popular events last year, and it was great to see the church full. Tickets are now available at £6.00 each including refreshments, please call 01777 949416 to reserve.
Special church services in December include:
- Christmas Carol Service — Sunday 16th December at 6.00pm
