Coffee Morning for Cancer Research

by | 22 June 2019 | Community Event, Rotherham

On 29th June St Bartholomew’s Church in Maltby are holding a coffee morning to raise funds for Cancer Research — do go along and take your friends to support this very worthy cause, from 10.00am to 12.00pm.

They’re hoping to take advantage of the summer sun with a Cream Tea afternoon on 6th July, from 1.00pm to 3.00pm. There’ll be strawberries and cream with delicious, home-made scones and meringues. Join them — hopefully in the lovely sun! They’ll be outside if the weather permits, if not in church.

They’ll be at the Horticultural Show serving tea and coffee to the thirsty competitors on 17th August in the Edward Dunn Memorial Hall.

They’ve also got exciting plans for September — on 7th September, they’re having a Fashion Show for the roof appeal at the Edward Dunn Memorial Hall with lots of women’s and children’s clothes at reasonable prices. It starts at 2.00pm, so go along and bag a bargain.

The weekend beginning 14th September, the church will be open for a Heritage Weekend when records will be available for perusal and tea and coffee and cake refreshments will be on sale.
