There's something for everyone at this year's Braithwell Church and Country Fair, at the Ruddle Centre Playing Field, Braithwell on Saturday 8th June, from 12.00pm to 5.00pm.

There's something for everyone, family entertainment, Live music from Maltby Miners Band and The Beats, Gillian Banks Theatre School, Arts & Crafts, Children's face painting, Cakes, Model Planes, Classic cars, Military vehicles, Farm machinery, Sheep shearing, Alpacas, plus many other stalls and attractions.

After a fantastic display last year Hawks of Steele are returning with their stand and flying demonstration.

Children's Go-Karts, Football, Bowling and Golf competitions

New for this year, Children's Unicorn & Pony rides.

Refreshments, Ploughman's lunches (served from 12noon) & Hotdogs.

The Bubble Box Yorkshire - Fully Licensed Vintage Horse Box Prosecco bar, also serving premium bottled lager and spirits.

Grand Draw with First Prize £100.00 plus many other prizes.

Home-craft Baking Competition

(Age 6 years & under):-

5 x Homemade biscuits decorated with an "animal" theme

(Age 7 – 12 years):-

5 x Homemade biscuits decorated with an "animal" theme

(Age 6 years & under):-

1 x Animal made out of a vegetable

(Age 7 – 12 years):-

1 x Animal made out of a vegetable

Any age:-

Choose one of the following;

1 x Artisan Loaf

4 x Scones

1 x Traditional Bakewell Tart

The competition entry fee for each class (Adult or child) is £1.00 entries to be received by 1:30pm, judging starts from 2:00pm. If you require more information about the competition please call 01709 812449

As ever may we ask for everyone's help, prizes for the Grand Draw, cakes, items for the tombola, and white elephant, or assistance setting up, running and taking down the fair would be greatly appreciated.
